Open houses are held weekly during the ski season, as long as the snow conditions are appropriate. For updated information on trails and open houses, visit our Facebook page. Additionally, casual apres ski gatherings are often held after a fun afternoon on the trails: members are encouraged to join in, and new members are always welcome!

The ski center consists of 10km of marked and groomed trails through balsam pines and spruce. All trails are groomed for classical and skate, and are designed for beginner to expert skiers. In addition, snowshoe trails are marked and groomed, and a selection of snowshoes is available to try out while visiting Eagle View. Snowshoeing is a great activity on those days when weather conditions don’t allow for skiing.

Soaring Eagle is located at 25467 US Hwy 71, 8 miles north of Park Rapids, and across from the Eagle View Golf Course. Lessons in cross country skiing are available at no charge to Itascatur members.
